IG Live Uplifting Kwanzaa, Healing & Resilience with Marcus Sankofa Nicks
- Listen to our full discussion -
Preparing for Kwanzaa & rooting in Black resilience & healing! Powerful discussion with my dear friend @marcussankofanicks founder of @historyheals who uplifted the history of Kwanzaa, the 7 principles & how we can embody them in our day-to-day lives - both Black folks & our allies.
We also spoke about the importance of radical self care & community care… as these practices help us to deal with a world which isn’t accepting of us. And @marcussankofanicksuplifted the importance of continuing to create inclusive spaces that honor our experience, how allies can support (which includes deep listening) + the beauty of continuing to learn from those who have gone before us!
